Testors Howard "Ike" 1/48

Post by LyleW »

Just about as simple a kit as you can find. Yes, it has that annoying raised outlines of the registration numbers, etc. Sheesh. Oh and two large pegs for you to attach the spindle to the racing pylon. Those are smack on the top of the wing.

This has to be the tiniest canopy / windscreen ever! I found one hiding behind a flap in the bottom of the box. Whew! Then I was looking over the instructions and noticed a piece of tape. Hmmm? There was another one taped tot he instructions. Good call Testors.

Done. AND, I did not lose nor break the canopy. Granted it was kept in a hermetically sealed mayonaise jar until needed, but.....
