Dragon 1/35 Sd.Kfz. 251/22 Ausf. D Finished

Post by Floki »

Got this one done! It was really enjoyable a few spots you have to watch for like most Dragon kits, just have to dry fit everything as you go.

Great work all around. The dioramas are so lifelike and naturally posed.

Expertly done, I expect the figures to get up and move around any second now! A well composed and executed scene.

Thank you guys so much! The figures are some really old ones from Dragon with just blobs where facial features should be, that's why no in focus shots of the faces. I'm glad you all like it!

That is really, really nice. The whole presentation....model, dio, and photography.

I felt a part of the scene viewing this.

You create fantastic dioramas. There’s no way I could pull off such a diorama like yours. Walt’s Hobby Town out in Syracuse where I went to a few weeks back has a nice stock of diorama supplies - foliage, dirt, rocks, etc....

I wouldn’t know what to get if I wanted to do a diorama.

For plants I recommend Diorama Presepe they are the most realistic. For very small pebbles woodland scenic railroad balist. Noch for static grass and tiny inscale leaves. For larger rocks use real or virgin cork, cork painted up looks more like real rock than rock. For fine dirt use sanded grout from the hardware store and real dirt for bigger clumps.

Get a idea together and just try it, you'll never know if you dont.

Great looking finish and base! I’d be curious to see how the real thing was when that gun was fired. I bet it rocked that half track bigtime.
