I’m glad this one survived the move. All cockpit pieces and cowling pieces were intact. I sealed up the fuselage a few days ago. Because I build these in a non-standard way- opting not to display the too-small-for-scale engine, and to display with the cowling shut, I end up with either a gap on the underside between the the wings and the lower fuselage aft of the cockpit, or up front, between the wings and the intake and that’s where it happened this time. No problems encountered in filling it. Cowling pieces went together very well this time. No terrible gaps or misalignments and the fit the fuselage is in my opinion as good as it’ll get with this kit.
As to the F-16. I rebooted this one with a new kit. I wanted to build it with all its ordnance and equipment because I think it looks awesome that way. The fuselage is taped together and I’ve been completing minor subassemblies and priming hard-to-reach places steadily as time goes on. A lot of the undersized stuff like the intake for instance I’ll be painting separately. It’s coming along well. Will start cockpit painting soon.
