Airfix 1/72 D.H. Vampire T.11

Post by Stuart »

Okay, so one of the gear legs is a bit wonky, and a couple of decals seem to have moved during the clear coat (???) but those bits aside I'm going to stick a pin in this one and call it done - the latest of my 'Father's Day ' builds.

All in all a fun little kit, it certainly stands out on the shelf!

Cheers and thanks for looking in!

Love the look of the Vampire!
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

That is a very pretty aircraft! I have seen them in museums with the hatches/nose open and I was surprised they used wood in some parts!
