Hey guys, I found a Stinson L-5 in 1/48 scale for $5.00! I am stoked.
Of course, it is a paper model.....wah, wah, wah. But what is coming to mind is using some of the extra thin plasticard and perhaps gluing the paper to the plasti-card. Who knows.

And from the "dumb idea" department...
I wonder if you could use an L-4 or something for the fuselage and then take this as a pattern to make a tail section?
Need more coffee.

Re: Aircraft of the Kentucky Air National Guard
The L-5 fuselage has a much larger cross section than the L-4, Lyle. If you print the paper parts on 60 pound bond it will work pretty well. I built a paper Tiger Moth and was surprised how well it worked.

Just don’t take a paper model out to play when it’s raining and you’ll be fine.
When you don’t have many options, you have to go with what you can get.

I’ll print it with a color laser, so it won’t run.Stikpusher wrote:Just don’t take a paper model out to play when it’s raining and you’ll be fine.
