Tamiya 1/48 P-38G Lightning Finished

Post by Floki »

Got the Tamiya 1/48 P-38G Lightning finished. This was the absolute best kit that I have ever built everything fit so well, was well thought out and engineered.

Extras I used in this build:
Eduard:
spACE 3d decals
Marking decals
Master:
Brass gun barrels
HGW:
Cloth seat belts

the Stl files for the Marston Mats

My goodness, that is a beauty!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I've heard nothing but good things about this kit since its release and this completion as well as your comments on the construction add to the pile. Just an all around great build here with plenty of attention to detail and great painting/ weathering. This one turned out a true gem Clint. :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout:

Love it! I may look for this kit at Syrcon 34 come October if there something a great price for it or hopefully thru a raffle drawing.

Beautiful Lass turned out beautifully! :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout: Very sharp looking finish! The war weary look and the airfield base combine to make this one look just right.

Thank you! I didn't like how the chipping turned out but I was afraid of losing the rest of the paint job by trying to redo it
