Who remembers building this old kit in your youth years? I certainly did! There’s no way I was gonna pass on this reissued kit so it brought back fond memories for me as a kid. The bridge floor area is done. The open floor area is using sheet styrene painted grey primer.

Navigator console, Captain’s chair, and wall panels are painted & ready for decals...

Figures are primered and ready for paint. Figures are of Capt. Kirk, Spock, McCoy aka: Bones, Lt Uhura, Chekhov and Sulu as Navigators. I wish they had a couple extra body pieces for a second female character and Mr. Scott

I can’t begin to count how many times I saw these kits in stores, but I have never bought or built one. Gonna love watching you build this up Tom. BTW, which additional female character would you like on the bridge? Yeoman Rand?

In all honesty, I purchased this kit and held off building it thinking Declan was going to start what I thought was a Star Trek Group Build. I got impatient waiting so went ahead and started it - group build or not.:giggles:

Very cool! But be careful, Stik may want to blow it up.

Decals are done! Tomorrow, a shot of clear satin to seal them in. Next is assembly of the bridge (finally) & paint the figures - not looking forward to that. :bag:

I'm with Carlos, I never built one of these before either. Someday it would be nice to get one of these. The original bridge crew is going away.

Yeoman Rand! What a cutie! I always thought she needed more screen time!
