1:1 Rogue One Wobani Stormtrooper Helmet

Post by speedgraflex »

This project started off as an extremely clean, fairly new Black Series helmet. Since Star Wars is often described as “Used Future,” with plenty of dirt, dings, scrapes and in this case some dried blood (human? alien?) this project gave me plenty of leeway. At first, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to “Go for it,” by sanding and scraping the fresh, shiny plastic, but I’m glad I did.

Wow! Just extraordinary work!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Outstanding work, Bruce! All that dirt, grime and blood is telling a story here. This is what makes the difference between a mass-produced piece of armor and a helmet that actually saw action. Also nice pictures, as always!
