Revell's 1/48 P-61 Black Widow
Re: Revell's 1/48 P-61 Black Widow
That is a bloody awesome bit of work on a less than perfect kit - very nicely done indeed

I finally have time to catch up on this and it's finished!
Wow, despite all the issues, you managed to beat this thing into submission and create a brilliant masterpiece! Unbelievably sensational job!

Thanks guys! You are all way too kind, lol. Glad I finally built it. It is one ugly plane, but neat looking. So my attention was drawn to it. I think after several years of modeling WW2 era stuff is my favorite. I like modern day stuff too, but I'm more drawn to the old war birds.

Keyda, for a while, I tried to alternate WWII-era planes with more modern,"jet-era" types. That worked okay for a few years, then I got sidetracked into mostly 1950's jets. I still have my one and only Bf-109E (I know, only one 109!?!) build stalled at about half done. Gotta get that one over the finish line soon!

Gary... I've got only 1 Bf-109 kit in my stash too. And only 1 Fw-190 too.

What's wrong with you two? Have you seen a doctor about this, it may be serious? I'll wait...Gary Brantley wrote: ↑Wed Jan 18, 2023 9:58 am Keyda, for a while, I tried to alternate WWII-era planes with more modern,"jet-era" types. Your black paint looks really good. Great job getting that weathered, not quite black, more grey, look to it!

Awesome, Keyda, it was fun to see you put it all together and great to see the fine result.
