Finally, after such a long time, I'm able to post some finished armor! This takes my final count of finished armor models up to 659 completed armor models.

I'll start with some of my WWII-era models, mostly German with one Russian beast included.

Whew! That is all the armor I completed in the last week and a half. Only 41 more armor models to go until 700! I also completed a few aircraft, feel free to check them out as well. Meanwhile, thanks for looking in, comments are welcome.

Oh, you don't know about my huge collection of finished armor in 1/72 scale. here is a little backstory...


I've been building small scale armor consistently for most of my life. I have completed quite a few. Two and a half years ago, I got some help to bring everything down and place all of them on four tables. At that time we also counted them all since at that time I didn't know how many I'd completed at the time. Here is one of those pics.

In this pic; taken two and a half years ago, there are 545 completed armor models in 1/72 scale:




Ever since then, I've been keeping a running count so I can know how many I have. That way, I'll also know when I get to 700 finished armor models.

This is the result of over 42 years worth of effort. Many of those models in that pic are at least that old. They are kept on floor-to-ceiling shelves spaced eight inches apart on two walls of my Hobby Room.

Most of the new 1/72 Revell tanks are designed by a modeller named Matthias Conrad, a guy I know too well. Most impressive when you look over his shoulder while hes designing 3D models ( but he doesnt tell too much of course ).

Ah yes, I'm very familiar with Matthias and his work. I constantly see references to him on the Missing Lynx Braille Scale Forums. He does do great work. I have been trying to pick up every Revell of Germany kit I can. I've also been to his website too. I just cannot afford the shipping costs from ordering from him directly. Thanks for that info Tigrazor. Please pass on my compliments to him the next time you see him and please express my admiration for his outstanding work.
