Yes stop gaming and build! :nono: :ballbat: That gaming stuff will rot your brain!
:hmm: But then again so do paint and glue fumes….

My plan's for this year is to just go where the wind takes me and see what happens. :lashed:

Not a bad plan, all things considered.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Lemme know when you get to that Freightliner. I've done a mockup build so I'm pretty familiar with the pitfalls and good things about the kit. Probably the biggest thing that I can think of is the relocation of the headlights a little lower on the cab. Why either AMT hasn't corrected this or there hasn't been a resin cab replacement for this issue is beyond my understanding.

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing you tackle that Kingfisher. I've heard some things about it but a lot more bad stuff than good.

Here's my short list. I'm not committing to much as I'll have another short year. I figure if I have the shop up and running by June I'll be doing well.

Tamiya 1/20 McLaren MP4/7
Tamiya 1/48 Rufe
Tamiya 1/12 YZR500 - Kenny Roberts
Tommy's War 54mm Trooper of Australian Light Horse at Beersheba
Italeri 1/48 Hawk T Mk.1
Thanks,
John

Ain't no reason to hang my head, I could wake up in the mornin' dead.

The Kingfisher has a ton of bad press, but let me set the record straight as there are a lot of complainers it is not a shake and bake kit.
The details on it the kit are outstanding, absolutely fabulous. The fit on the kit is where everyone complains. The fit is perfect, so much so that many parts won't go together without a small about of massaging. By this I mean if you paint it, it won't fit now. ALL and I mean ALL the pin locators are larger than the corresponding holes they go in, so expect to drill them all up. Other than that, the kit is amazing. I would build another any day. I do have significant progress on it, I just need to get a thread up and bring everyone up to speed.

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you're not using enough duct tape.
