Be prepared for a lot of filling and sanding on that lower cowling! Apparently, Revell fixed the cowling panel when they re-boxed it as Big Beautiful Doll. I'm a sucker for box art though and I love he box art on the kit you picked!

Heh, heh, no kidding! That lower cowl piece on my Mono Mustang "Detroit Miss" never did fit right. At the time it was built, I didn't have the knowledge or ability to "fix" it, but there is a honking big gap fore and aft. In truth, that is the main reason that it's never been out to the airport to stand before the camera. The second kit I have, the one missing the clear parts sprue, may be a better fit, can't really tell much on the sprues. Still, I hope I get a positive reply from Revell because I do want to build it again.

I think this one fits the bill, it has been in my stash for a very long while:
