The only two fillers I trust anymore are Epoxysculpt and Perfect Plastic Putty. I've never had shrinkage with them. And good old super glue.

Looking real good with all the rework and replacement of lost or missing detailing.
I gotta believe that can happen. I know when i put the bondo spot putty over lacquer primers it basically eats right into it. Stuff definitely is a chemical bonding agent. Never have to worry about it popping out tho

Love that PPP! I’ve used the epoxysculpt and have some on the bench but I’m so used to working with bondo type products from my automotive work that i tend to stick to it since i know how it behaves.

Back home from traveling now. Had a little time to work on Hazel

Lots of tape as usual…

Planning to try and paint as much of the cat as possible. I must be :bored:

As you may have guessed painting this in black primer is great for the markings! Practically everything is in black so all i have to do is lay out the lettering and clear it!

Your Thud is shaping up well Mongoose. Masking markings is a pain, but looks great when done.

Remember , a Thud has three ways to kill ya. 1) Shoot ya 2) Bomb ya 3) Fall on ya...

This is fun to watch. I really like the painted markings.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Excellent progress. That stenciling will make the kit look amazing.

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you're not using enough duct tape.

Oh, the “Every Man a Tiger” artwork! Nice! I didn’t realize that was the aircraft which you are modeling.

That's an excellent bit of masking work - masks cut by hand or have you a cutter?
