Zombie Apocalypse and the AH-1Z Viper

Post by TheMongoose »

This one’s got Stuart written all over it…

When i was building my last Viper I ran across a cool illustration that i had to save for a future build. It’s that time now! I’m traveling for work so hotel nights are perfect for assembling an out of box build. Check out Grubby Fingers Airctaft Illustrations for his VicPol Zombie Apocalypse AH-1Z!
Pic for illustration of the theme only ;-)

And here’s where I’m at so far

Going to be all out of the box. Just the basics that I can work on in the hotel room and then paint the scheme at home on the weekends. You guys probably know the kit well. Great fit, nice PE, except for missing seat belts it’s perfect.

Nice. You should do the California Highway Patrol F-4 next.

There used to be pictures of the CHP F-4 all over the place, but it must have been pre-internet as I can't find it at the moment, only a pin that has the image on it. It obviously was just fictional but looked good cruising down a southern California freeway at very low altitude. I did find two A-10's, however, one in California HP markings and the other in Arizona HP markings.

Adds a whole new meanint to "This highway patrolled by aircraft"
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

This build just became a dio! Now I’ve got to order some pilots. So much for not spending more money on it :whiteflag:
