Ah, ol' Heinz Wilhelm, the inventor of the Panzertruppe.
The fabric looks very convincing to me, also his moustache. He looks a bit pale, though. But I won't judge on only one picture. Light is a swindler.

wow, those variations in shading are supurb! Im seconding a tute on how yu paint figures!

You sir definitely have talent! If I were to ever attempt a figure it would end up looking like a 2 year old who hid out with a box of crayons.
