CB's Monogram 1/48 P-51D Build

Post by cbaltrin »

I guess I'll follow Lyle's Lead at start a separate thread. So let us review again !

The Kit:

The Parts:

The exhaust (It needs to be modified to be installable from the outside).

The lower rear fuselage is a mess of sink marks, flash and steps. It's best to remove the gear doors and poorly represented details the sand and file everything smooth and start over with a clean slate:

The tail wheel mounting holes are best modified to allow wheel to be inserted after fuselage is joined (and probably after painting and decaling is done as well!)

What can I say.. I've gone saw happy. Just because you can do it, means you should do it.... wait, that does not sound right... :hmm:

I saw what you did here!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
