The cockpit is looking really sharp! Especially that IP! :shoutout:

That is a really nice bit of work - that's looking excellent. It's amazing what a nice paint job can do.

Thanks Gents. I appreciate the encouraging words. I'm working on the wing/fuselage fit now. Seems the armor plate on the lower wing does not match up with its counterpart on the fuselage. Probably gonna be more Apoxie Sculpt to the rescue... :hmm:

Random notes on this build.
1) Command decision: Decided to Finish Fuselage and wings and subassemblies. Fit is good enough and any paint touch up will be easy. A few good coats of Tamiya primer of the Fuse will hopefully resolve any paint adhesion/cracking issues...

2) I love rattle cans... at least Tamiya... Primed the Fuse and painted the center tank with rattle cans :quotes: HASHTAG=EASY :quotes: No, you can't use them for everything but they sure make some thing easy...

Great progress. I agree re: Tamiya rattle cans. I've pulled of some nice auto finishes right out of the can. And for gloss black undercoat for NMF I like their gloss black.
Thanks,
John

Thanks keavdog. Tamiya Gloss aluminum is also a good base for alclad -- can be a bit tricky to tell when you have it covered with enough coats of alclad though...
