Ha, ya. That one was a problem child from the begging. 1/72 scale, short shot sprues which were replaced. Assembly was okay but when the paint beaded up/pilled all over the thing I lost it :giggles: Funny thing is I really want a 1/48 Jayhawk to do my commemorative coast guard bird anyway.
Thanks,
John

How different is the basic Coastie ‘Hawk airframe from those used by the Navy, Army, or Air Force. One of them has to be close enough for a project…

A Seahawk would work, just have to monkey with the external stuff. But I can't find one for less than $80.00 - maybe Italeri will re-release.
Thanks,
John

Never! I will never be defeated by any kit and send it into any wall! No matter how stressful the build
Stik, off the top of my head its only happened twice for me. An old Doyusha D4Y Judy kit that just gave me fits. Made a three point swish with that.
Then the Italeri 72nd Tornado. Accidentally stepped on it 5 or 6 times. Beautiful decals, crappy kit

Lightweights, I've probably trashed 30 over the last ten years - I find it rather therapeutic!

I never trash a build unless it’s damaged beyond economical repair during construction. But I used to sooooooo enjoy destroying builds with firecrackers, BB guns, or other pyrotechnic methods before I turned 18…. :ballbat: :giggles: Now that was therapeutic
