Nice choice!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Beautiful! What marking scheme are you planning to use on this one?

Probably one of the standard blue-gray planes. I may get aftermarket ones for it. I'm definitely going to rescribe it though.

Why rescribe? The TBD had overlapping skin panels and raised rivets…Medicman71 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 2:17 pm Probably one of the standard blue-gray planes. I may get aftermarket ones for it. I'm definitely going to rescribe it though.

Just seems like a bad idea on this kit. Lot's of that raised detail should be raised, especially on the wings and tail. Personally, I would just sand the fuselage with some 1500 grit tamiya sponge to knock down the raised lines a bit; but it's your kit and build obviously so forgive me for the unsolicited advice. I was honestly just shocked when I read your post about rescribing and that gif is pretty much what happened in my brain when I read it

Well I'll hold off but I hate raised panel lines cause they usually get destroyed when cleaning up the seams.
