Hi all,

Every year in September theres a modeling expo and a veterans day in the small village Kovarska in the Czech Republic. At 11th of September, 1944 one of the largest air battles of WW2 in the ETO took place right over the skies of the Ore mountains, and the veterans day honors all those who fought there, including a big reenactment. Unfortunately, I couldnt be there, but a friend did - all pictures were shot by him.

Cool stuff Tigrazor. I live near Arnhem and we currently have a lot of "70 years Market Garden" memorial so the sight of all these reenactors is quite familiar. Do you know what that sand coloured vehicle is in the second last picture?

Whatever it is; I doubt it´s WWII...

Just imagine such a group of historic military vehicles and all those re-enactors showing up in Germany! No way!
Wonder how many decades will have to pass before we will be able to face history without or officials to panic... Oh well...
