Lyle I think its because of the two piece upper fuselage. With that stupid peg holding it in the middle

That did not help! Ended up cutting it away.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Got some paint on today. Took 3/4 of a bottle of ADC grey. Geez. Let it dry for a day then spray the black nose tomorrow

3/4 of a bottle? Like a Model Master 1/2 oz. bottle? That’s a lot of paint on a 1/48 fighter! :hmm:

Almost 3/4 of AK 10ml bottle. The 106 is as big as an F-15. The wings alone took an airbrush cup full

Ok, that I can see… a 10ml bottle makes a bit more sense for the amount you described.

John, that is lovely! Much nicer than mine. I just stripped all the paint from the cockpit forward. Someday, I’ll get it finished.
