Got the Hellcat finished up I would like to build another but will definitely look for a older boxing, the molds are starting to show their age with this kit having a lot of flash. I also really liked the new Eduard decals and the ablity to pull the carrier film off after they have had time to properly set. The 117 and the Star and Bar was painted using a custom mask off my Portrait cutter.

Hope you all enjoyed the build!

Wow, that looks really nice. Another Floki Masterpiece!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Well done!
Re: Eduard 1/48 F6F-3 Hellcat
Nice job Clint. Pretty interesting markings for a Hellcat - I like what looks like spray painted 004 on the cowl.
Thanks,
John

Very sharp work! Nice to see a unique Squadron marking scheme.

Re: Eduard 1/48 F6F-3 Hellcat
Thank you everyone!
One of the reasons I chose this scheme along with the white spine and tail. From what I've read they would spray paint the numbers on at the factory, why this one still had the number visible I'm not sure
