1/72 scale Italaerei Fiat BR 20 "Cicogna"

Post by BlackSheep214 »

My next project.....

Image

I got this one from Lyle a few years ago and it's time I get this one thats seldom built.

I started fiddling around and got these done....

Image

A very spartan interior lacking details and both engines. I'm not going to bother with the figures for two reasons...

1 - they're tiny and you won't see them once the fuselage is buttoned up.

2 - the figures lack details. See photo below....

Image

The one on the far right goes in the nose seat. Heck, he looks like he'd be sitting in the corner rocking and talking to himself or.... sitting on the commode. ROFLMAO!

Cool subject. Not familiar with that plane, but I kinda like the Italian camo schemes and aircraft. Ya the guy on the right should have a blanky and be sucking his thumb :giggles:
Thanks,

Oh yeah.... this kit has only 5 steps to completion.

Oh I do love Italian aircraft. Looking forward to seeing this one built up.

I may have to outsource to aftermarket decals. The kit's decals look pretty old and I'm afraid they'll tear apart when attempting to apply to the kit.

Cool! Looking forward to this one. Easy kit, but watch out for the upper turret. it was a booger. Decals were indeed toast. I chose a Japanese variant and just painted the stuff.

hilarious across the board - 5 steps and that lump of plastic for the nose gunner!
what a cool aircraft. this should be a neat plane to have on the shelf. a real conversation piece.

Do you have any Microscale Liquid Decal Film? I’ve used that stuff to restore several old decal sheets. Highly recommended.

I agree with Carlos, Microscale liquid decal film works wonders.

I have this same aircraft kit so I'll be watching this closely.
