Post by LyleW »

This is the old Testor's "brown cardboard box with the label plastered on the front" kit. Kit #7510.

Thanks, Gary. We'll see in a few days. Today is shot to hell for the rest of the day. It isn't a bad kit,

I bought mine at a local Winn's variety store, back in the late '80s I guess.

Here she is, resting on the bottom right:

That is one very sharp looking little Yellow Wings build Lyle! Very nicely done sir! :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout: What did you use for the rigging?
Oh yes, like Gary said, more photos please!

Nice build, Lyle, the yellow is great. I think it is a nice kit, the real airplane captured well.

Fantastic finish, Lyle!!! You did her justice! What's not too love on those yellow wings era aircrafts.

Thanks, guys. The yaller is MM acrylic Insignia Yellow, the fuselage is Tamiya AS-12 aluminum, canopy frames are Sharpie Silver. The rigging wire is some I got at the LHS.
