It has been suggested that I drill the gun barrel out, I think I will try that.

I glued the cockpit in and joined the upper and lower fuselage together. The wings work together!

Nice! Isn't it great when things work!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Looking like a Tomcat now. :shoutout:

If you have some very small metal tubing, you can likely create the muzzles for the six barrels of the Vulcan cannon and put them into your larger installed brass tube.

Never did a Revell Tomcat. Did do a 1/72 scale Hasegawa Tomcat. Loved it. I think I may still have it stored away somewhere. Did it as Pukin Dogs scheme.

Your tomcat is coming along nicely!
When did this kit start coming with a gun barrel? :giggles: The opening in the gun panel could stand some careful work with a jewelers file though

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you're not using enough duct tape.

cbaltrin, I added the barrel using some brass tubing, I posted a picture of the gun and the 'five' barrels are more than a foot behind the hole.

Here's my 1/72 Tomcat, according to Scalemates, it is a 1992 release of the 1988 molds
