Lots of nice scores, Mark.

On Veterans Day, I took a ride out to the Electic Chic Antique Mall. I go there to see what’s new along with what model kits they have for sale. Came across a ‘34 Ford Dragster kit. No price sticker but I was too lazy to find out. There was a Johan Barracuda dragster kit next to it - no price sticker.

Looked around more… found a Revell 1/32 USMC RF-4B Phantom II kit. Took a peek inside. Wow that’ll be a big bird once put together. Asking price was $25. Decals were yellow. Skipped by on that one.

I did find a VW T1 Samba van kit for $10. I had debated on getting it but held off to see what else I’ll find. There was a couple of San Francisco trolley car kits I was going to pick up for $8 a piece. Again, held off to see what else I can find.

The last kit I saw was a Tamiya Russian KV-1 tank kit. Price sticker listed as $65. Wow…that’s a lot for an old 1972 boxing kit. Upon further inspection, I find out it’s a motorized Tamiya kit. Now it made more sense. A bargain for sure. Skipped out on that as well. Needless to say, I left empty handed. Regretted maybe I should have picked up the SF Trolley kit.

I’m curious about your plans for an IDF M106A6… does the IDF use that variant? :hmm:
In a manner of speaking I did win a lotto, of sorts. A friend of mine from Hobby Day needed his house painted. I got aid $3500 for it so I celebrated. I got the M109A6 because in looking over photographs of the Israeli version; This kit/variant is closest to the look of the Israeli one. I know I'm still gonna have to make some modifications and all, but I'm trying to minimize how much of that I want to do.

By the way, another kit I've been meaning to replace just came in:

That has already been started, pics forthcoming in the next tour.

Mark, I’m happy for you on this good fortune. You surely deserve it.

Well, after this weekend’s Andy’s HHQ warehouse sale madness, I walked away with these goodies for myself.

For my ships I picked up this 1/350 Russian SSBN

And for my armor I picked up these figure sets
