Ideas for Christmas

This popped up on a FB Group, "Old Farts Scale Model Group" - Wife said I could order one and then said, "Merry Christmas". It is / was on sale. . . for only $850.00 US ....marked down from $999.99. A real bargain. Over 3,000 pieces and the rail bed base is 7 feet long. A fun one to watch.

Was that the new Dora railgun? (The link points to a desk picture)

I apparently have no issue blowing big money on kits as evidenced by my recent "latest acquisitions" post, but even I struggle with thinking of a reason one would buy one, or where to keep it if it is ever built...to say nothing of ever moving it.

And to think the 1/32 scale Lancaster is big. It would be interesting to see how big it is with a 1/35 scale tank and figures next to it.

Here is one with figures in place. Must be the version that released about 10 years ago.

You can park it in the garage no problem.
