Mil Mi-2 HobbyBoss 1/72

Here the other mil helicopter that i'm actually working on, hobby boss 1/72 too as the houd :)

Excellent kit i see, so the build will be almost OOB.

Box'N'Sprues

nice fine details on the surfeca, probably some will be visible after the paint :mrgreen:

Works starts rapidly, i closed fuselage after two or three days from start

Some sink mark to cover

the only adds till now, the rudder pedals totally ignored by the kit

Preparing subassemblies for paint, the interior painted with italeri acrilics in the kitchen , rotors, exhausts and other outer pieces in the bunker with humbrol enamels

also a general enamel primer

the main rotor compared to the Mi-4 rotor, also i break two of the three blades and repaired with metal inserted pins :geek:

After i put a weight on the top of cockpit before to glue engines front. Actually already in paint stage but not yet pictures i took or uploaded them.. soon updates :)

LOL , out of japanese, russian and big planes/fliyng boats, transport and utility helicopters are another of my love :D

After primer two layers of humbrol 89 mixed with white

masked the 89 this afternoon and a first layer of humbrol 30 green

Today i uncovered that Amazon sells hobby boss kits too at reasonable price.. then Mi-8/17 Ch-46 and probably another Mi-2 will get my house way soon :stirpot:

the first part pictures are about 5 days of works during two weeks, the last post are from yesterday session, afternoon and night :)

Loving this build Bsyamato. I've been tempted by the gunship version of this kit. It has... personality??!

This kit is high recommend Vance, I like the design of these old Russian stuffs.
Even my version included pieces for the gunship version, the instructions just tells to not use. Also two kalashnikov on the sprues :)
Soon the mi-8 too in my stash
