Nice work on the Rufe Tom! :shoutout:
Ya know, Polly S and Humbrol both made a purple/lilac paint in their paint lines for Japanese aircraft long ago… nobody does today.

Nope. Such a sha.e Pollyscale discontinued. I reaaly like their paint line.
Originally, I had bought AK Interactive 3rd Gen Lilac to use on the Rufe. Then I saw I had Pollyscale Atlantic Coast Purple in my paint stash (from Rex years ago). I ran a couple paint tests on a mule kit. Found the 3rd Gen was too bright even under black base. The Pollyscale was a better fit.

Nice Rufe, Tom. That's a color that doesn't show up for me due to my color vision. Looks like the USN intermediate blue to me. Pretty, actually.

That's very nice indeed Tom - My Purple obsessed pilot wife would love that.

after I add those things, I'll get the usual multi angle photos up in the proper completed forum...
For the purposes of this GB thread, it is finished!
That looks awesome Carlos!

Thank you Stuart. In the end it turned out pretty much as hoped for… 🫰🏼

Stuart, thank you! All in all, pretty happy with it.
