Now if I’m not too mistaken, using that single piece rear fuselage as a common start point, multiple variants can be produced from early until the tall tail versions came along.

Indeed! Much like the latest F-4 Phantom kits have been molding the main fuselage as a single piece item to remove the spine seam.

Is anyone else having issues with The ModelingNews? Nothing I do, eg. whitelist their site, turn off ad blocker, etc. works and I still get a "blocked" message when I try to visit. Oh well. Nothing too critical to see, I guess.

There is a site with a similar name that gets blocked.

Try this URL directly

They don't like you... ROFL! Just kidding.

I was like to view the site. Not sure what issue could be for you. Perhaps a safety feature active?

F 'em. I've got their site whitelisted and blocking turned off and still no joy. That's okay, I've got no time for their crap.
