Awesome! I've decided on an Airfix Spitfire to go with my Emil that's almost finished. I'll get some piccies up later this evening. I've got to run to town for some supplies!

Take two. I just lost the post when I fat-fingered the menu. Okay, where were we? Kit is going together fairly well. some gaps at the wings

Using mostly the Mr. Dissolved Putty (thanks, JimH for the tips) and things are working much better with the product. Still needs the cotton bud scrubbing, here

Somehow, the nose cone was a bit off. Bad part, i'm guessing!

So, that is where it stands for tonight. I'm getting quite nervous about the Alclad - may go to a rattle can to be safe. Also looking for US WW 2 aircraft marking fonts to download -

What ever you, Alclad or rattle can, do not forget to put a black base underneath. That works wonders for any nmf finish.

My kits are still on the sprues, hope to do some building tonight.

Thanks for the reminder, Borg! I appreciate them. Really! I have bad habits of normally forgetting the obvious! I sprayed several loads of Tamiya acrylics on the B-12 without thinning! Since the captured a/c was a big "dull" I am considering going with a gray primer. I do have black as well. Who knows? Only the Shadow knows......This and the B-2 (almost ready for decals, BTW) have been quite the learning experience.

For 2.5 days....I'm rather pleased. Not a contest entry by any stretch, but for me....It is close to done!
