MikroMir 1/48 Yak-18 Max

the kit is from ther ukrain company MikroMir, shortrun with PE and Mask for Canopy and very much differen color

after WW2 and th ocupation of austria, the soviet toops leave austria they give 3 Xak-18 as a gift to austrian Bundesheer, one of them is in the museum of Zeltweg Airbase today

Oh wow.... a very cool yet odd looking aircraft. Kinda looked like the Texan in a weird way.

Beautiful finish. I've been curious about MikroMir kits. The certainly have some interesting subjects.
That cowling is different for sure.

Well done! You really know how to make a base for the model, and the color modulation on the wings is very nice.

Great to have you back, Peter! MikroMir kits are nothing for the faint of hearted. Even more impressing what you've done with it!

Very nice Cherrylock! I once made its big brother, the Yak-11 in Austrian colours. But it is not as nice as yours, you really made that monochrome scheme come alive.
