I’d love to see you tackle this! Where would you cut the fuselage?

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Haven't figured that out yet, Lyle. Probably can get close by counting windows but I may have a drawing around here somewhere.

Very cool kit, Lyle. Can't wail to see what you do with it.

Re: ICM 1/72 DC-2
OK, here is a comparison drawing I have worked up from some 3 views I have found in the past. The tail differences are down to the DC-1 drawing not being as accurate as the DC-2 drawing, but I think it is good enough for modeling purposes. It looks like the fuselage was lengthened forward of the wing and the baggage door was re-positioned more forward. Looks pretty doable to change the DC-2 kit to the DC-1, with the added task of making sure the engines are correct for the DC-1.

John, thanks. I could
Not get the picture to expand. I did go looking and found this for a 1/144 version

This rocks Lyle! I have one of these kits stashed in the stash somewhere too. I'll be watching this closely!

We are modelers - the same in spirit, in hunger to insanely buy newly released kits, hustlers in hiding our stash from our better halves and experts in using garbage as replacements for after-market parts.
