1/72 F/A-18A Blue Angels 2006-Hasegawa

Post by Ledsled »

Hello-I am going to give this model a try. I have the kit, am using the C model kit as it has the fence for the wing and the C and A tails. I have the CAM decals for the Blue Angels 2006 season.

Neat. those are always good!

Looking forward to this build. The demonstration team birds always looks so sharp. And no weathering!

EDIT: and CAM provides enough decals for 3 birds?!

Very nice, looking forward to this. I recently picked up the same kit so I'll be interested to see how it goes together.

Nice subject choice! You can never go wrong with a Blues Hornet.

A slow start, some cockpit work done. It's a shame Hasegawa never did a better cockpit for this kit. The basic tub, seat, stick, Instrument panel and decals.

Is there any aftermarket stuff available for this kit? PE sets, 3D decals, resin seats?

I love watching the Blue Angels perform. Only saw them once. The Thunderbirds I've seen at least 3 or 4 times. Have never seen the Snowbirds. Definitely want to see The Black Diamonds demo team out of Florida.

I've got the 1/48 scale Kinetic Hornet in my stash.
