I threw this together just for fun this weekend. Had hoped to get it finished but here's where I am. Should get it finished up in the next couple nights. I don't think this kit is nearly as good as some of the other new kits that Airfix has released. Fit was not great and details are weird.

Anyhow. Really bang up job. I look forward to seeing it finished.
Thanks Jim. WEM enamels don'tcha know. Yes it is their newer kit. Sprue attachments are huge which is really a detriment to some of the smaller parts. At least the plastic is soft and can be easily carved away with a sharp knife. Speaking of this scheme. I am a little unsure. The markings come without swastikas. Do all Airfix kits come without swastikas? Or is this from that brief time that some of the pilots removed their swastikas in protest? Notice the kill markings are kind of up where the swastika should normally be.

Borg... yes it is! :yipee:

This "no swastika" policy is followed by a lot of modelling companies. In some countries, like Germany, swastika's are "verboten". So manufacturers leave them out of the boxes to stay out of trouble.
