Since I haven't ordered the colors for the Me262 yet, I decided to jump on this one the Saturday before I left on a family trip to Maine.



A lot got done. Main wings? Done. Cockpit? Done. Buttoned up the fuselage? Done. I was tired and I got sloppy. I should have stopped after the cockpit was done. Why?

Exhibit 1 - the main wings



Nothing wrong, right? WRONG!!!



I forgot to drill open the holes for the rocket rails.

Exhibit 2 - fuselage buttoned up. Yay!



I forgot to paint the office...

And...





I forgot to insert this before buttoning up the fuselage.

Thankfully, I was able to test fit to see if I could insert it in without tearing the fuselage apart.

You were having too much fun Tom! Luckily all you have to do for the cockpit is spray a bunch of black in there.

I was about to suggest the exact same thing. Not that I've ever done this myself mind you.

I don't drink. I was dog tired Saturday night before our 5 hour trip to Maine the next morning.

Paint is on! But... stupid me.... I should held off installing the rocket rails for the invasion stripes I'll figure it out.
