The Duke Finishes Three Aircraft in November

After some extra time to work in my Hobby Room, I finally managed to get three models completed recently.

The first was an easy kit from Eduard, it's a 1/72 scale Fokker DRI flown by the Red Baron:

It's a tiny plane only about three inches long.

After that I went big. This is the Aurora 1/72 scale DC-9 re-released under the Atlantis label and given TWA markings:

Finally, the Heller 1/72 scale Super G Constellation done up in TWA markings as well:

And that probably is all I'll get done for November now. We'll see how many I finish in December. Meanwhile, thanks for looking in, comments are welcome

Wow the super constellation is awesome. I've got the 1/144 minicraft kit on the bench and also doing the TWA livery.

Looking great Mark!

Now, would be interesting to see the Connie and the DC-9 next to each other? Curious to see the size difference, and why not have the Fokker on the wing :-)

Looks like red is the tie in color for all three aircraft here. :hmm: Very nicely done! :shoutout: I really love the two Teenie Weenie Airlines liners

Wow, thank you guys for the great compliments!

Thank you John Eaton!

I love that Lyle! "Marcus Buildius Alotus"! I might have to start signing my Threads with that! Thank you for the compliments!

Tom, I'd say go for it, but watch out for that Heller kit. It's a bear to put together and the propellers are constantly breaking. This kit I started with already had broken propeller blades inside the sealed plastic bags!

Thank you John Kdog! I actually have a 1/144 scale Constellation kit I got in an IPMS Nationals goody bag. I'll have to build that to put next to this one if I can find it.

Thank you Kari! I can try to get a pic of both aircraft side by side with the little Fokker included, but it will be challenging as I haven't got that much free table space. I don't see me putting the little one on the wing, it'll just sit between them.

Thank you Carlos! I hadn't even noticed that until you mentioned that about the red! LOL!
