After a very productive Hobby Day, I was finally able to get a few models over the finish line.

This first one is the Trumpeter 1/72 scale Russian Uragan MLRS:






This second one is the Academy 1/72 scale M1A1 Abrams in Egyptian markings:








That's all for now, but I might have a few more finished before the year end. Six are on the spraybooth awaiting camouflage patterns.

Thank you Bruce! I'm glad to have gotten these done. Tobe honest, I've been weathering all my vehicles for a very long time, especially now that I've found a better way to do it quickly and efficiently. I'm still practicing that technique though because sometimes I haven't achieved the results I want. If you look closely, the Egyptian tank has also been weathered, albeit a bit more lightly than the truck. Take a look back at some of my previous work and you'll see a lot of weathering has been happening. I've even gone back and weathered some of those 'factory finished' models I built in the past. It's great to have a huge pool of models to practice weathering on. The only ones I haven't weathered are the civilian vehicles and the fire trucks. Speaking of which, have you seen my American LaFrance Fire Pumper?

As for my most recent count of models finished, Here are the numbers to date:

Aircraft: 492
Armor/Vehicles: 923
Ships: 298

Along with all the other subjects I've dine the total completed count of all my models is: 1756 completed models, not including commissions. Speaking of commissions, I still have your Hellcat to deliver to you.....

Thank you Carlos! I didn't paint them. I took a page out of Jim Wechsler's Lazy Modeler handbook and skipped that, but I guess I should try and get them painted.

Bruce, no apologies needed, sometimes it's hard to see the weathering effects despite my best efforts. I'm just thrilled when you check out my work and comment, I'm always honored. Maybe someday you'll see some of my work in person! Feel free to look back to February to see the entire armor collection posted when I set it up last time. Zoom in and you'll see loads of weathered models there too.
