So after a 30 year rest this one is ready for the display case. I did indeed start it 30 years ago, but as I was taking it over to a friend's house to show it to him I dropped it and chpped the top rear corner off of the fin and got depressed. I guess sometimes it just takes awhile to get the mojo back. Had to source a few parts from the 6 other Hasegawa 106's I had collected over the years but not many. It's been sitting in its kit box bottom waiting for me all that time.

I'll never do an open missile bay on one of these again, what a pain! The last two pictures are of my Convair delta connection to date. You might wonder about the Bear facing backwards. Yeah, a goof, I was going to fix it but then I thought "why not dedicate this one to John (Keavdog) and Carlos (stikpusher)" who headed out from California recently as well.

What stage it was in all those years, except the current repair to the fin in dark resin:

Nice work John! 30 years is a long gestation, but it obviously paid off! I do love the Convair delta family group photo. :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout:

The family is now complete. The wait was worth it.

Thanks, all. I enjoy the quick builds and filling out groups. I'm hoping to finish the 1/72 Revell F-104C before years end, it's in paint. Have to do something while glue or paint are drying on the 1/32 Mk. 5b. The Revell kit is good and bad but it is the best of a weak lot for F-104C's in that scale since Hasegawa has not been moved to do anything but G's.
