Just kidding. The A-10 is probably my favorite jet after the F-86, Such effective weapon. The Henchel I have not seen on the forums. Neat a/c.

That it is, Stik. That it is. I think that is why some of the brass hates it so. It is still viable, effective and in today's world fairly cost effective.

The USAF never really wanted the A-10 and has been trying to dump it since the 80’s. But time and time again in combat it has proven to be a lifesaver for the guy in the ground.

I get the feeling top brass at the USAF won't admit it's a damn good aircraft.

So I built up the gun but some parts didn't fit very well. So it probably won't go in the aircraft. I'll probably still paint it and display it with the Hog.

Does Hobby Boss give you ammo loaders? It would be cool to show a loading session!

Also—looks like whoever designed the kit did no favors to the builder by attaching tips of sprue gates directly to the rotating barrels which need to be smooth.

Not unless it’s something stealthy or a Sierra Hotel fighter type…. The A-10 is neither. It has its proponents within the Air Force, but not among the shot calling top brass. CAS is a mission that they do not embrace, yet at the same time jealously guard.

That ammo loader is called "The Dragon". Unfortunately no one makes it. Maybe Reskit will.
