I had, at one time, harbored thoughts of doing the Panther and Pershing from the Cologne tank battle detailed in "
Spearhead. I have since decided That is a foolish decision for many reasons. Mostly, I don't have the hands and patience anymore. So, just building this for fun.
I actually broke out the airbrush, a Gaahleri. I love the pistol grip. But, jeez Louise, these tanks have a crap load of wheels....
decided to go ahead and do some of the camo. The yellow is a combination of Tamiya Desert Yellow, oversprayed with some Tamiya TS-3 Dark Yellow. I used Mission Models RotBraun RAL 8017 and Tamiya Olive Green.

Double D's all around! nice on the hands. Now, if I can get my stale, old, crusty brain around installing the road wheels.....

Lyle, I do believe you and I are on the
same page with this Panther of yours; aren't these about the same colors?

Looks like it. Like Henry Ford may have said said, “Any color(s) you want, as long as it is Desert Yellow, Rot Braun and dark Olive!”
