While the Cromwell waits for next steps in the paintbooth, I started slowly but surely to build the Staghound.



What a nice kit all in all! A lot of details, lot of pieces and so far excellent fit. Instructions are perhaps not the best, need to interpret a little bit.

In a few hours time, the kit is in this stage:





Meanwhile I got the new decal set for the Staghound:

I must say, it's long time ago I have enjoyed building a kit. It's like a puzzle, a lot of pieces, even if small, enjoyable!

What was really a positive surprise, the gun barrell is brass!

Slightly disappointing, but with this kit, the front wheels cannot be turned, so they stand straight. And looking at the complexity, I don't have the skills to start doing some surgery, turning the wheels. Instead I need to keep an eye of the alignment as I fear that will be a challenge..

Slowly but surely coming to a point, when paintbooth is calling.



The Staghound is surprisingly big vechicle, thought it would be smaller.
