Cheers Carlos! It should be an interesting build - I don't really know much about Gekko models but it'll be fun to build from a new manufacturer.
BlackSheep214 wrote: Thu May 29, 2025 8:07 am Nice! Interesting fugly British Cruiser tank. I like finding odd looking stuff to build.

I may look into getting that one myself.
It certainly has character Tom, just like a lot of British equipment during the war. It should be a fun build.
I looked in scalemates and saw you can.build UK, Greece & Libya British schemes.

@John - LOL! :wub:

@Tom - yes indeed, it does seem to have a few good marking options. The British used them in France ion the run up to Dunkirk, North Africa and then sent some to Greece. Apparently they did pretty well against German armour but failed mechanically.

Anyway Gents - IT'S HERE!!!!!

Really looking forward to this - I've not built anything in 1/35 that wasn't Tamiya so it'll be interesting to try something different.

A LOT of plastic in the box.

And some nice looking instructions.

Can't wait to get going.

Cheers!

I took a peek at the instruction guide in scalemates and “what’s in the box” link. Yeah… 48 sprue trees in all, 1 PE sheet, cordage string and electric wire. Can’t find where the wire comes in on instruction guide. :bag:

Have fun with assembling track links. :giggles: 74 pieces per side :whiteflag:

Hard to desecrate this lol! :giggles:

It's an A10, it's just not THAT A-10 :bag:

Possibly a contender for the ugliest tank the British built in WWII. But look Tom, the steering wheel is on the left!

Ahhh I see. More like a target for the A-10. :shoutout:

Look one the bright side... rivet counters won't bitch about the rivets on this bad boy. :giggles:

The more I look at the kit, the more I want it. No funds for new kits for now. Can't wait to see you start building this one, Stuart.

So I've been slowing making some progress on the interior - I still have a fair bit to do before paint (like the turret) but it's coming along. This kit has a definite short run feel to it - but it's been fun and buildable kit thus far.

Looking good Stuart! Now before you go painting the interior white, if you intend to paint the interior, paint it Aluminum. That’s what the interior color should be on British AFVs up until 1945.
