With the Eduard P-51 Mustang kit gone as burnt toast, I'm starting this one. I've never done an artillery piece in all the 50 plus years of building model kits. The kit...

Should be a quick build. I am debating to add to a diorama base but it has been since my early teens I've done one. We'll see how it plays out.

Cool. I've done a few guns here and there. A dio with those 3 figures would be cool.

Off to a great start! Sorry about the Eduard kit. That is exactly why I won't do another.

Yeah… I still have the Eduard Fw-190 Butcher bird in my stash. Hopefully, that one is the Weekend edition not the Profipack. Haven’t touched it since I purchased it years ago.

That Pak.40 is a great old kit. It builds up nice, easy, and quick. You'll probably spend more time painting it than building it. Enjoy.

Screwed up on the shield assembly. Part A30 is suppose to be a movable part. Accidentally glued it. :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: Contacted Tamiya USA for replacement parts. They are sending Parts A 24 thru A35. They don’t have spare A23. They told me to contact them in 3 - 4 weeks. Going to try to save and salvage mine as best as I can. If not, I’ll contact them in a month.

I managed to save Part A23 using debonder for CA glue. Once dried, it will turn white. I'll simply clean it up with something maybe mineral spirits or a purple bath.
