I’ve been experimenting with black backgrounds for my completed photos—especially science fiction subjects. This is an original 1968 long box E with Federation Models resin upgraded to get close to the Cage Pilot version from the original series.

Cool! I’ve done the vintage Star Trek Enterprise kit as a kid. I’d love to do another in vintage box kit, not the re-issued box art. Fond memories. I’ve done the vintage Klingon ship and Romulus kit as well.
I also done the Bridge kit back then but did build another a couple years back.
:bag:
The only kit I never done was the shuttle kit… imagine that?! :bag: :giggles:

I do recall building a couple large scale Star Trek figures… Kirk and Spock. I don’t recall if there were other large scale figure kits in that series though.

Very cool, Bruce! Do you use a softbox for the lightning?

Thanks, gents. Torben, I built a really big box yes and used video lights to control color temperature!

Magnificent photography Bruce! That black background really enhances those models well!
