Well I hate it - its a crap kit and I didn't do a great job on it, but it's done. Very glad it's off the bench. :bag:

Looks great Stuart! I generally hate Italeri kits. I've never had a good experience with them.

Thanks Gents, really appreciate it.

I really like the subject, but I have to say I wish I'd bought the Hasegawa or Eduard kit. This really is poor - the main issue is the main u/c legs. Totally in the wrong position. Alas by the time I'd realised the CA glue had set like cement.

Got it in one - and it's not an assembly error on my part, this is how the kit is designed! :headslap: Annoyingly it's an easy fix, I could have put some plasticcard in the holes for the rear arm, and just moved the legs forward, but alas when I did this I had a migraine coming on and I wasn't really paying attention - by the time I noticed the CA had gone like a rock.

I really like the Hellcat, and I'm going to do another one - I quite fancy having a go at a 1/48th one although I'm not sure who makes one - I'll have to take a look.

Actually Carlos that photo is interesting - it's not a three-tone camo but only tow like the Wildcats? :hmm:

Looks good Stuart, paintwork excellent!!

Eduards Hellcat is though an outstanding kit, both the 1/48 and 1/72. Recommended!

Despite the issues, you did a magnificent job on that little cat. I like it.
