Hi there...

Its steampunk time again. I struggled to buy this figure now for some months and finally got it. The modeler - Yury Serebyakov - is said to be under the Top 10 of the best modelers worldwide. Theres only three parts, no glue was harmed so far. Just an incredible fine mold that bust is.

Pictures? Here they are:

Looks like a breed from Wolfenstein. Extraordinary moulding quality. This guy knows what he's doing.

Welcome back to the bench, btw. ;)

Thanks mate. :) As always, the bust will stand or fall with its face - and its pretty tricky to paint and will take its time.

First paint is on. All painted in acrylics, mostly from Games Workshop, except metal tones as always (here: Humbrol).

from left to right:

-GW Space Wolves Grey ()
-GW Goblin Green (goggles)
-GW Thraka Green (goggles)
-GW Carroburgh Crimson (face > cheeks, depth)
-GW Agrax Earthshade (dito)
-GW Dwarf Flesh (basic color for the face)
-Vallejo 71076 Skin (lights I)
-GW Ceramite (lights II)
-Humbrol 27002 Chrome Silver (goggles)

Some more steps were done on the clothing. Base color here is GW's "Warlock Purple" in combination with Carrobourgh Crimson shades, some white and some Schmincke effect color ("Aero Vision Gold-Red". Especially in the sun the effect is awesome!
