I can't help myself. Jumped a third automobile kit. :bag: :giggles:

The kit

I'm going to build this one a mean machine... sort of. :giggles:

I rarely build auto kits straight up stock. Too boring  :giggles:

Tom! I'm glad to see you're busy building! I'll live vicariously through you for the moment.

Wanted to do something radical with the engine. Using the kit supplied 426 cu. in. V-8 and used various parts from my parts stash - manifold, carb risers, flues from parts stash. carbs from Camaro kit, fan belt assembly from Vette kit, chrome fan and exhaust manifold from my spare parts stash.

Exhaust system may have to be modified to fit this beast.

Body, engine bay, etc... painted Rustoleum Metallic Aluminum.

I dechromed the front grill with Purple Power and will be painted black. Rear deck will also be black as well.

Using different tires - yellow stamped Firestone radicals for this one.

Nice Wheels, Tom! Great inspiration, John! I was going to showcase Tom Petty’s #43 but you beat me to it.

Did a test fit of engine bay to chassis with engine in place. Looks like the fan belt assembly is too big. :headbang: Took it off and installed the kit's fan belt on.
