Orignally I enterd this kit in the "one week" GB but I failed at making the deadline.
It is the Zvesda 1/72 Flak 36, also known as the 88mm. The kit is designed for wargaming but is accurate and easy. The only thing I changed is drilling out the barrel.

The gun is delivered with a small base and four crew members. These will be added later.

Here are the progress pics.

And this is the finished result.

I did some rework on the flak and decided to make a small vignette using the figures and base from the box. The flak is a bit understaffed but I can understand why zvesda did not supply more figures. The would require a bigger base making the whole thing unsuitable for wargaming.
The figures where painted with Andrea and Games Workshop paints.
The base was painted grey with yellow drybrushed over it. And I added some scrubs and rocks to the base.

Looks great! I'm always amazed at what people can do in such a small scale!

Thanks, I think the trick is not to really paint much in 1/72 but just suggest detail by shading. That especially goes for the figures,
