Soviet Armored Train Car - 1:72 Hobbyboss - Completed

Greetings fellow modelfolk. Your friendly frog has arrived with an unusual subject:
Intended as a christmas gift to a relative, i have only limited time to complete this build. Started this morning and after two hours of coffee infused building i came up with this:
About an hour ago she went in the spraybooth for primer. Pic to follow when that has dried. Total time spent sofar: 2.5 hours

Thats more than my 190 and ive been going blind trying to do the seatbelts for a couple of nights now.
As for the kit itself, ill pass judgment when its painted

Hooray! Something armor related! Armor builds often are fast... It's the finishing process that slows 'em down...

At the moment i am exclusively building armor so ill be found in this corner in the future too

Oh, interesting. I have build some Dragon 1/144 armoured trains. This one looks very good.

Looking good Kermit, and it sounds like you finished yours as quickly as I finished mine. It only took me about a day to finish painting and decaling, and then I got the weathering done he following day. Nothing like a relaxing three-day build to help things along! Looking forward to seeing the rest of this.
